1. Our Philosophy

Animator Hub is built to collect as little as possible. Your creative activity is your business. We never sell your personal information, and we never share it with data brokers or advertisers as a product. What we do collect is what the service needs to run, to bill correctly, and to meet the safety obligations described in our Content Policy.

2. What We Store

• A basic profile linked to your sign-in method, email address and password hash, or your Google account
• Confirmation that your email address was verified, since an unverified account cannot sign in
• Credit balance, purchases, subscription state and receipts so your payments are honoured
• The prompts you submit and the media generated from them, so your library works and so safety reviews can be audited
• Basic product events, such as page views and key actions like starting a checkout, used in aggregate to see what is broken
• Technical records needed to prevent abuse, including sign-in timestamps and coarse request metadata
• If you link Discord: your Discord user ID, username and display name (see Discord Account Linking below).

We do not build advertising profiles about you and we do not sell or rent any of the above.

3. Advertising and Measurement

We run paid advertising, so we measure whether our own ads work. Advertising and analytics storage only runs after you accept it in the cookie panel, and you can withdraw that at any time. Where a network supports server-side conversion reporting we send the minimum needed to credit a click, never your prompts, your media, or the content of your account. The exact categories, providers and retention are listed in the Cookie Policy.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed by our card payment provider and cryptocurrency payments by our cryptocurrency payment provider. Card numbers never reach our servers. We store what the processor returns to us for billing and fraud purposes, such as the amount, the currency, the outcome, and a non-reversible card fingerprint used only to settle an unpaid balance before a new payment succeeds on the same card.

5. Safety Screening

We do not read your private library for curiosity or marketing. Automated screening does run on every prompt, every upload and every finished render, because a small set of categories, above all anything involving a minor, is blocked without exception and cannot be switched off for any account. Flagged material and reports from users go to a human reviewer on our team. We are switching device uploads off across the platform. Many accounts already run without them, and the remaining ones are being moved over, after which the only permitted source media is output the platform generated for that same account, so no photograph of a real person can enter the pipeline at all.

6. Legal Requests

We disclose account records when we receive valid legal process, when there is a risk of death or serious harm, or where the law requires proactive reporting, as set out in our Anti-Human Trafficking Policy.

7. Data Removal and Retention

When you delete a single generation, it leaves your library and every public surface immediately. The record and its prompt then sit in a restricted archive for 30 days, so support can restore an accidental deletion and so we can answer an abuse report about a file that was already shared elsewhere. After 30 days the record, the prompt and the media file are permanently deleted by an automated nightly job.

Database backups rotate on a 30 day cycle, so a deleted item can persist inside an encrypted backup snapshot until that snapshot ages out, at most 30 days beyond the purge. Backups are never used to serve content, only for disaster recovery.

We do not keep a permanent copy of your media for audit purposes. If a specific item is the subject of a formal report or a legal hold, we retain it while that case is open and delete it when the case closes. Short retention figures you may see elsewhere on the site, such as one hour or 24 hours, describe temporary working files inside the generation pipeline, not your saved generations.

You can request full account deletion at any time. Your profile, generated media and library are permanently removed. A narrow set of records survives deletion because we are required to keep it: payment and tax records, an unpaid balance, and records tied to a safety report or a legal hold. Those are retained only for as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else.

8. Discord Account Linking

Linking a Discord account is optional. If you choose to link one, Discord shares your Discord user ID, username, display name and avatar with us. We do not receive your Discord email address, your messages or your list of servers.

• We use your Discord user ID to make sure one Discord account is linked to only one Animator Hub account, and to check that the Discord account is at least 30 days old. The age comes from the ID itself.
• Linking adds you to the Animator Hub Discord server and gives you the Linked Member role there. Other members of that server can see that you are a member.
• Discord gives us a temporary access token. We use it once to add you to the server and then revoke it. We never store it.
• We keep the link, the time you linked, whether you were added to the server and whether you received the promo credits.
• We keep a short log of link attempts (time and result) to prevent abuse. It is deleted with your account, and entries older than 90 days are removed.
• You can unlink at any time on the Discord page of your account. When you unlink, or ask us to delete your account, we delete your Discord username and display name at once and remove the Linked Member role. Your Discord user ID is kept only until that role is removed, normally within minutes and never more than a day. You stay a member of the server until you leave it. We keep only a one-way hash of the Discord user ID so the promo cannot be claimed twice.
• You can also remove Animator Hub from your Discord account under User Settings, Authorized Apps.

9. Your Rights

You can access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@animatorhub.ai and we will respond within 30 days.
