How it works

Choose how to start: Text to video is the fastest route from an idea to a clip. Image to video gives the most control, because the still fixes the character and framing before any motion is added. Text to image is the cheapest way to test a look.
Write the prompt in five parts: Subject: who is in the shot, described as an adult. Setting: where. Lighting: the light source and mood. Camera: shot size and one move. Motion: the single action you want. Finish with a style word such as cinematic, realistic or anime.
Match the action to the length: One action suits a 5 second clip, two suit 10 seconds and three suit 15. Asking for more than the clip can hold is the most common cause of muddled motion.

Fixing the usual problems

A full body shot that crops the legs needs a portrait aspect ratio such as 3:4 or 9:16, because a square frame cuts the figure. Motion that smears in reference to video often means the aspect ratio does not match the source clip, or the prompt describes the whole scene when it should describe only the change. What it costs to make a scene

Standard video costs 1 credit per second at 720p and premium video costs 2 credits per second at 1080p. Clips run 5, 10 or 15 seconds. A standard image or image edit costs 5 credits and a premium one costs 10 credits. Extending a clip costs 2 credits per added second, up to 15 seconds in total. Upscaling a finished clip costs 5 credits to 2K or 10 credits to 4K.

Credit packs are 100 credits for $30 ($0.30 per credit), 500 credits for $125 ($0.25 per credit) and 1,000 credits for $200 ($0.20 per credit). Credits never expire and no subscription is required. New accounts that make their first purchase within 48 hours of signing up get 20 percent extra credits on the 100 credit pack: 120 credits for the same $30. That is a first purchase bonus, and the base pack stays 100 credits.

A sensible first session is a few test images to settle the look, then one or two clips. Five standard images and two 10 second standard clips come to 45 credits, under half of the 100 credit pack.
